DOCBOOK-APPS: PDF bookmarks in dsl 1.76

docbook-dsssl-1.74b, openjade-1.3.1, and jadetex-3.10 produced PDF bookmarks for chapters. Clicking on one of the ">" marks would expand the chapter to show the sections within, i.e.

>Chapter 1. Sometitle
>Chapter 2. Sometitle
^Chapter 3. Sometitle
   Section 3.1. Sometitle
   Section 3.2. Sometitle
>Chapter 4. Sometitle

docbook-dsssl-1.76 with the same tools produces PDF bookmarks for chapters and sections, without the ability to collapse the sections into the chapters, i.e.

Chapter 1. Sometitle
   Section 1.1. Sometitle
   Section 1.2. Sometitle
Chapter 2. Sometitle
   Section 2.1. Sometitle
   Section 2.2. Sometitle
Chapter 3. Sometitle
   Section 3.1. Sometitle
   Section 3.2. Sometitle
Chapter 4. Sometitle
   Section 4.1. Sometitle
   Section 4.2. Sometitle

Anybody know what changed between 1.74b and 1.76 to cause this? I liked it better the old way.

I am viewing PDF with acroread 4.0.
