RE: DOCBOOK-APPS: depth of section numbering

OK.  I found a reasonably simple way to do this --- customize the template
named "label.this.section" in the "labels.xsl" stylesheet.  Make it look
like this (I haven't tested, but it should work.)

<xsl:template name="label.this.section">
 <xsl:param name="section" select="."/>
 <xsl:choose>
  <xsl:when test="name($section) = 'sect5'>
   <xsl:value-of select="0"/>
  </xsl:when>
  <xsl:when test="count($section/ancestor::section) &gt; 3">
   <xsl:value-of select="0"/>
  </xsl:when>
  <xsl:otherwise>
   <xsl:value-of select="$section.autolabel"/>
  </xsl:otherwise>
 </xsl:choose>
</xsl:template>
