DOCBOOK-APPS: Sanskrit & DocBook

Hi!

I'm pretty new in DocBook coming from LyX (LaTeX) authoring and would like to
ask if someone can share his/her experiences in writing Sanskrit (with western
transliteration) documents in DocBook.

Any experience in writing Devanagari with DocBook?

Recently I found out a package for mapping between DocBook & ConTeXt 
(DocBookInContext) and by being able to write Sanskrit within DocBook will give
the best of the both worlds :-)
