DocBook XMLschema in Visual Studio.Net

Hi,

Developers here at Sectra are jumping up and down since they discovered DocBook and now they want to take it a step further by using DocBook for documenting sourcecode in Visual Studio.Net. However, they say it isn't possible to get runtime validation of the DocBook DTD in Visual Studio.Net, but it is possible to use the XML Schema. What is the status of the DocBook XML Schema? If we use it in VS.Net, will it be possible to switch to the DocBook DTD for processing or are there compatibility issues between the two?
