Umm... which WG?  The OASIS DocBook WG?

If so, I don't think they should get involved in standardizing PIs.

I thought this discussion was about support for common extensions to
the style sheets that people do, eg. forced page breaks in XSL:FO, and
timestamps, inside of the DocBook XSL style sheets?
