DOC: XSL Documentation for 1.60.1 differs from Using the DocBookXSL Stylesheets

Using the DocBook XSL Stylesheets advices to run apache XML fop in 
this way[1]:

Convert a .fo file to pdf:
  java  org.apache.fop.apps.Fop  -fo  myfile.fo  -pdf myfile.pdf

The XSL stylesheet documentation recommands this way[2]:

java  org.apache.fop.apps.CommandLine output.fo output.pdf

I tried both with fop 0.20.4 but only the first one works.
