The default style has a sort of "hanging indent" look (several folks
have pointed you to the right parameter to tweak).

On the one hand, I don't think it's all that attractive, on the other
hand any change made to the base stylesheets has an impact on
*everyone* so I'm reluctant to improve the default design.
