Conditionally remove indent on FO programlistings?

I have to generate PDFs in halfletter (5.5in x 8.5in). For this size the
indentation used for program listings wastes too much space - I need to make
the indentation smaller or non-existent. I've looked for an attribute-set I
can customize, but I can't find one that seems appropriate.  Any help
appreciated.
