first display of website-designed page is messed up

i just, for the most part, finished my first website-designed
web page, and it's got a weird glitch.

  www.enoriver.com -- the first time i display it in a browser
(in this case, netscape), the first item in the ToC is displayed
to the right of the graphic at the top.  i do a reload, and it's
properly displayed underneath it.

  i'm confused as to how the first browser display is incorrect,
but doing a simple reload fixes it.  and this is consistent.

  i'm open to suggestions.
