docbook2txt and 80 characters

Could someone tell me how to extend the default number of characters per line in docbook2txt conversion out past 80 characters.

 

I have documents with various tables I would like to convert to text, but the tables get jumbled up a bit when converted since they are longer than 80 characters wide.
