The possible cause of problem can by XSLT processor bundled in JDK 1.5. It
is XSLTC which compiles stylesheets into byte-code and it is possible that
DocBook stylesheets are too complicated for compiler. Anyway you can run
Xalan or Saxon -- both are Java based and should work with Java 1.5.
