Dunno. It could be that the Debian version is doing some magic
that requires some piece from the DocBook DSSSL stylesheets
distro, even if it's not actually using the stylesheets
themselves. But if it doesn't actually use anything from the
DocBook DSSSL distro, the package really ought to be updated to
not require it.
