Unaware of any of the aforementioned tools.

However, a cursory review identifies the following:

XIncluder
"The engine implements all of XInclude, 2002-09-17 Candidate Recommendation, 
except referring to fragments of XML documents using XPointer."

Must utilize xpointer.

Perhaps some oXygen people can lend insight into xmlint and Xerces 
integration.
