indent depth of <blockquote> and <literallayout>

I'm sure this is a very simple problem - what I want to do is left 
justify all block elements in PDF output - titles, paras, sections, 
sect 1 etc, blockquotes, literallayouts, lists, tables.  How can I do 
it in my customization layer?  I'm using Oxygen 6.2 and XEP 4.4 with 
Docbook 4.4.
