UpCast's Word to DocBook -- Character mapping

Hi,

Anybody here familiar with UpCast's Font mapping, using the stdfonts.config
and the font.encoding scheme?

I'm trying to convert doc files to DocBook xml and I've been testing UpCast
to do the job, but I'm having problems mapping fonts to unicode characters,
especially the characters that uses combining diacritics. Can anybody here
give me a hand on this?
