Displaying article/articleinfo/date in print?

Platform: Intel Pentium M, Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy Badger",

	  xsltproc 1.1.15-0ubuntu1
	  fop-0.91beta

Is there a simple way of displaying the content of the
article/articleinfo/date field in the print title page together with
the title and the author name?
