DocBook XSLs affected by patent 7089492?

Hello,

I accidentally stumbled upon this today:

which seems to claim a patent on converting CALS tables to accessible
HTML tables, though it claims to do this *not solely* based on XSLT.

Could the DocBook XSLs (specifically e.g. the HTML export) be affected
in any way by this?
