Mediaobject, Selecting Video

Dear List,
I wonder if it is possible to automatically select a videoobject in HTML
output and a static version (textobject or imageobject) in FO? Or is
this mechanism only available for the same elements
(http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/GraphicSelection.html#SelectByRole)?
