docbook-xsl 'graphics'

Each time I build a new 'book' etc, I have to load up
yet another set of graphics (forward link graphics,
callout numbers etc) to my website.

Is it a reasonable request to provide a param
telling the processor where these are, so I
can load them once to my website and then
reference them in that location?
