how to automatically scale inline icons?

Which parameter or attribute group do you set in XSL-FO customization (DB5) to make inlinemediaobjects use only the font/line height and not cause extra space between the lines when it is inserted? That is, how do you avoid that the icon pushes the line it is on a few mm down?
