RE: [ebxml-dev] difference between DeliveryReceipt and Acknowledgment
With single-hop, Acknowledgment and DeliveryReceipt are mostly interchangeable.
With multi-hop, Acknowledgment is from the next hop while DeliveryReceipt is
still from the end.

However, the use of DeliveryReceipt as been depreciated in v2.0 so it would
probably be wise not to use it.

Subject: [ebxml-dev] difference between DeliveryReceipt and
Acknowledgment

Hi,

according to ebXML MS spec v1.0, in a response message,

1> When the Acknowledgment element should be present? and
2> When the DeliveryReceipt should be present?. and
3> what is the significance of the each element in the response message.

with respect to single-hop messaging.

Could someone shed some light on this?

Vijay
