Freely available patents from IBM - but what about ebXML CPPA?
In an interesting and welcome pressrelease <http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/0276035.htm>IBM releases a large number of specifications <http://www-03.ibm.com/linux/opensource/isplist.shtml>from patent inhibitation. But what about the patents behind the ebXML CPPA specification? Are they still there and if so the questions becomes, why arent the CPPA spec in the list? Afterall Bob Sutor should have some knowledge of ebXML. <http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/0276035.htm> <http://www-03.ibm.com/linux/opensource/isplist.shtml> <http://knowledge-bct.workem.org/blog/?p=13> - Best Regards /Anders ///////////////////////////////////////////// / Anders W.
