BIAS

FYI, there is some interest in ebXML in the OASIS BIAS (Biometric 
Identity Assurance Services) TC. One of the participants in this TC has written an 
article on CPPA, which is referenced below.

 

I was invited to attend their call, and 
did an 
introductory presentation (which 
includes some sample BIAS over ebMS2 
messages):

In their domain, there many alternative options 
(biometric file formats) for a single service. CPP/CPA is of interest as a way 
of bilaterally agreeing those. They also expressed an interest in IIC 
deployment templates for this purpose.

 

The TC 
will discuss potential further steps about ebXML at their upcoming meeting.
