These are the two news transmission standards I mentioned in today's
meeting:

News Industry Text Format, an emerging standard for electronic
dissemination of news:
http://www.nitf.org/

NewsML, another news standard: http://www.newsml.org/

I think it is important that returns reporting standards produced by
this committee interoperate with these news industry standards.
