Title: Nomination for Committee Chair

I would like to nominate Anwar Choudhury of the Cabinet Office of the UK for the office of Committee Chair.

Anwar is responsible for implementing e-Government in the UK and has faced many issues both technically and politically.  In addition his position will facilitate the acceptance and adoption of our standard not only in the US but in Europe as well.  The UK has proven to be a leader in electronic government and has an extensive, well-formed plan which parallels the Committee's goals.  I feel his leadership will greatly enhance our efforts and promote the standard across a wider audience.
