The TC should decide on a common scheme to be used for any EDXL products and apply for mimeTypes as part of developing a standard. In the case of CAP, one should be applied for now and specified in this document. There are some variations in use now, ../cap+xml ../common-alerting-protocol+xml , etc. For an EDXL wide scheme it might be good to apply for ../edxl-cap+xml ../edxl-de+xml , and so on.
