RE: [emergency-adopt] Groups - Event "Emergency Management Adoption Technical Committee Meeting" modified

I will probably not be able to attend this call.  It is better for me for this TC call to be the same week as the EM-TC, but will try to adjust if that works best for others.  The ballot I received about a date change was titled for the Adoption Events and Demos SC, not sure that was correct but I voted anyway in favour as long as it doesn’t conflict with other meetings.  I hope the date/time for all the Adoption TC and SC events are reviewed during this meeting and we can continue to have none that conflict with the EM-TC/SC meetings.  Sorry I can’t make it today.  Very glad work is picking up in this very important committees.  Cheers, Elysa

a) O&E Statement of Purpose:

The Outreach & Education subcommittee is responsible for:
    -    identifying, building and maintaining relationships with external organizations,
    -    outreach and liaison with other national and international bodies,
    -    providing support for Communities of Interest, and
    -    developing educational programs and materials,
which promote the adoption of emergency management standards.

 

b) E&D Statement of Purpose:

Work on organizing speakers and topics for events that the EM Adoption TC decides to support. Also responsible for organizing scenarios and planning of OASIS Interop events.

 

c) C&D Statement of Purpose:

Responsible for writing or editing whitepapers, primers, slide presentations, etc. Also take responsibility for updating the collateral on the EI MS website http://www.oasis-emergency.org/ along with the TC's public webpage: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/emergency-adopt/.
