Common Alerting Protocol (CAP, ITU Recommendation X.1303) is recognized internationally as the key standard for societies to achieve all-hazards, all-media public alerting for emergencies.
As further detailed in this  flyer , the 2021 CAP Implementation Workshop is a forum for implementers of CAP and associated organizations to discuss how best to expand adoption of the CAP standard, and to share practices among users of CAP. There is no charge to participate and anyone interested in emergency alerting is welcome: managers, technical staff, media, etc., including commercial organizations, governments, and non-governmental organizations.
Because of the pandemic, the 2020 CAP Implementation Workshop will be conducted as a Webinar. Call-in instructions will be sent to participants registered by e-mail to   . The Workshop will run each day  from 13:00 to 17:15 CEST  (Geneva, Switzerland time).
Please note the  Call for Participation . If you have CAP implementation experiences or insights to share, please let the Program Committee know (by e-mail to   ) that you want to give one of the 20-minute presentations. The list of speakers will be decided  1 September 2021 .
