Document Description:
At today's meeting, the members of the Infrastructure Framework
Subcommittee (IF) reviewed and approved the first of several edits for
drafting the new Distribution Element 2.0 specification. Issues discussed
included (a) a best practice for all examples to go into appendix rather
than inline in spec; (b) the need for specifying a source area as well as a
target area and perhaps multiple areas; (c ) the payload should be valid
xml but not necessarily validatable; and (d) sources differ on whether
wrapper elements should be used for repeated XML elements.
