At the June 12th, 2012 meeting of the Infrastructure Framework  Subcommittee, the members discussed the following topics:

 1.  TOPIC: Do the most recent issues and improvements recommended for the  DE 2.0 align with previous comments raised during the public review? (Yes,  the most recent issues and improvements recommended in the email at  https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency/email/archives/201205/msg00019.html  and summarized at  https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency-if/download.php/46287/SpecialMeetingAgenda2.odt  have been mapped to the original comments raised in the public review.  )

 2.  TOPIC:  Are there remaining questions regarding the submitted  resolution of issues in a proposed WD07 schema? (Yes, a few questions  regarding possible typos/mistakes were discussed related to the proposed  WD07 schema at
https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/emergency-if/download.php/46165/edxl-de-v2.0-cswd07.zip.  Follow-up email summary of these questions was sent to Don seeking  additional clarification. These questions are mentioned below and also  mentioned in the individual topic proposed resolutions in the special  agenda mentioned above.)

 3.  TOPIC: What are the three most significant resolutions proposed to  address the recent issues?: (Answer: Perhaps the three most important  resolutions proposed are (1) changing the schema to condense the ValueList  elements (SenderRole, RecipientRole, Keywords) down to one element  (DescriptorList); (2) removing DistributionReference; and (3) reducing the  kind of TargetArea down to  ?SourceTargetArea? and  ?DistributionTargetArea?.  The intent of these proposed changes is not to  change the functionality of the DE 2.0, but rather to streamline the  schema.)
