Next Steps for DE 2.0

All:

  I enjoyed visiting at our last IF meeting about new ideas and interest in advancing our DE even further, including ideas I was recommending re Layers; however, upon further reflection, I believe there are always many good ideas and suggestions for advancing our standards and it's an ongoing process, and these will take some time and effort to resolve and should be channeled into continued future efforts to improve the DE.  I re-read the DE 2.0 Basics white paper and was reminded of the significant advancements we've made and the careful thought that has gone into addressing the many comments received during the first public review.  Consequently, I'm looking forward to advancing the DE 2.0 without additional delay.  Let's discuss at our upcoming Tuesday meeting the appropriate next steps based on the OASIS processes.
