IAEM is now accepting abstract submissions for Pre-Conference training workshops and Breakout conference sessions.   To be selected, it is crucial that applicants be compelling in both the importance of the subject matter and their own knowledge and experience of the subject.   Consider how your presentation will relate to the overall conference theme “Resiliency” within the following focus areas:
Long Term Recovery and Mitigation
MissionContinuity
Emerging Technologies
Case Studies
Partners in Practice – Emergency Management Community
Please refer to the 2012 Conference Speaker Guidance for descriptions of the above focus areas. See below for link.   Breakout sessions are one (1) hour in length (including Q&A) and are limited to two (2) presenters. Pre-Conference training workshops may be ½-day, full-day or multiple days and will not be limited in the number of presenters.   The deadline to make a submission is
