Reminder- Nominations close on Sept 27th

Just a reminder if you have not yet submitted your nominations, please see email below for specific due dates.
The Emergency Member Section
Steering
Committee
has appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year.
Both TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote to

before September 27.
There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination.These at-large members provide for community-wide
representation in addition to the
committee -specific representation on the
Steering
Committee .
Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27..
NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27.

Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to both
sc-election@oasis-open. org
and
emergency-ms@lists. oasis-open.org
Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.
If there are more than three nominations (at large seats)
voting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot.
Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automatically
selected and will hold their seat for two years.
