Emergency Management Steering Committee nominations open through 27 September

Nominations are being accepted through 27 September for candidates to serve on the Emergency Management Steering Committee.
4 of the 5 at-large SC seats are eligible to be filled by this nomination period.  Jeff Waters will continue to serve until September 2020.  In addition, the active TCs associated with the Emergency Management Member Section may select a TC Member to be their representative on the Steering Committee.  Any representatives selected by the TCs should be identified before 11 October.
Nominations may be made by any Member Section Participant by email to  
TCs selecting their representative should report their selection to the same email address before 11 October.
Nominations must be accepted by the nominee by the end of the nomination period in order to be considered valid.  If more than 4 nominations are received and the open seats are contested, a 14-day election process will follow this nomination period.

for recent email and meeting notes describing their activity focus.
