        Description

        An exploration into representing EDXL messages, in this case a Common Alert

Protocol (CAP) message, in _javascript_ Object Notation (JSON), specifically

in JSON-LD (Linked Data).  The zip file contains a sample CAP message in

the traditional XML format, and then also in the JSON-LD format.  In

addition, there is a supporting sample CAP ontology in a couple formats, as

well as the CAP message converted into triples and related formats.  The

goal of the exploration is to see if this approach can achieve the

following goal: Broad and easy use and reuse of EDXL standards and

sub-elements in modern JSON-friendly format, with support for linked data,

automatically convertible into RDF, with flexible reuse of individual

elements by user community as needed, but with oasis-defined identifiers,

namespaces, and meaning (through an EDXL ontology) under the control and

maintenance of OASIS Emergency Management TC.
