Resigning as Chair of EM TC

Hello All -

I wanted to let you all know that I am stepping down as Chair of the EM 
TC effective immediately. I am moving on to a new job, which has 
actually already started, that is not in the emergency/incident/crisis 
space and as such do not have the necessary time at my disposal to try 
and maintain the Chair duties. As such, it is only fair to pass these 
duties over to someone who can focus on driving the TC into the future. 
I have already notified Karl and Jamie at OASIS and have given them a 
list of to-dos, just in case it is needed in the handoff to the new 
Chair. Jamie will be stepping in to conduct an election with the group.

I wanted to let you all know how much I have appreciated the 
opportunity to participate in these efforts. We have come a long way 
since our first meeting and I am sure you all will carry it forward for 
years to come. I may certainly pop up in other TCs, so I will be 
"around" keeping an eye on your success ;)

Thanx again for all of your efforts and energy over our first year and 
a half, and I wish each of you and the group the very best!
