How to fix your EITC calendar for the new meeting schedule - next meeting February 15 (NOT January 18)
Our next meeting is February 15, followed by March 14 and so forth. Since the scheduler cannot send out cancelations ( negative meetings ) for those already scheduled, here's how to fix your calendar. The events are now in the calendar, and were sent to the list on January 11. Emails are attached; each email has a .ics file included that describes the event(s). On the member home page you'll see them on the top right information block if you haven't reorganized your personal view. There may be problems importing the .ics file (see (4) below for instructions); the correction shown is needed for Apple iCal; please let me know privately if it works correctly in Outlook. The next two are at http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/energyinterop/event.php?event_id=32625 (February 15) and http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/energyinterop/event.php?event_id=32626 (March 14 and the rest of the year plus January and February 2013). The latter one at the bottom lists the March meeting and future meetings in one place. Steps to correct: (1) Find and remove all future EITC meetings, using your calendar's search function. (2) Import the ICS files from the two reschedule messages (attached) (3) Verify that the dates in your calendar match those in the linked meeting notices. (4) If a correction is needed (the most common issue is the repetitive event) you can take the result of importing ical_32626.ics (some implementations put it only on Feb 13, 2013) and manually reset it to Feb 15, 2012, then do a repeat until February 28, 2013 on the second Wednesday of each month.
