Next step on forwarding Energy Interop to the IEC

Thanks for the unanimous and complete vote on forwarding Energy
    Interoperation to the IEC

    

    I'll be sending the formal request tomorrow, and will keep the TC
    notified of the subsequent steps. The next one we should see is a
    formal all-members review period after OASIS administration posts
    the request.

    

    Thanks again for the in-depth discussions and for clearing this

              Do you approve submitting OASIS Energy Interoperation V1.0
              to IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) for
              International Standard and presenting this request to the
              OASIS President as required by the OASIS Liaison Policy
              [2] pursuant to Terms of Submission [3]? 

              

              

              

              This starts the OASIS liaison process with respect to
              OASIS Energy Interoperation 1.0, an OASIS Standard. The
              Technical Committee has discussed and evolved draft terms
              of submission in consultation with OASIS staff and others,
              including General Counsel James Bryce Clark. 

              

              

              

              The draft terms of submission reflect the Technical
              Committee's desire to engage with IEC in furthering this
              work. 

              

              

              

              The TC understands that the format of the Terms of
              Submission may change editorially, including designation
              as draft or final, as the liaison process continues. 

              

              

              

              This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote [4]. The TC
              roster currently lists 11 voting members. In order to
              pass, at least 8 members have to vote Yes and no more than
              2 members may vote No.
