Relevance of OASIS SOA Reference Architecture Framework (RAF) to the work of Id-Cloud

Hi:

As promised at the meeting today, attached is a recent draft of the SOA-RAF which covers a number of definitions and concepts that are close to our concerns. Many of the definitions build on existing ones from the SOA Reference Model, SAML, XACML and others…

Although still a “work in progress”, the draft is on a last round of internal edits and QA before being adopted by the SOA-RM TC for a final public review.

 

The sections worth having a look at are 2.1.1.2.; 2.1.2.2.; 2.1.2.4.; 3.1.1.; 3.1.2.; 3.1.3.; 3.1.4.; 3.3.6.; 4.1.2.1.3.; 4.2.2.2.; 5.2.

 

Hopefully so,e of these concepts will be of value in determining the various actor/role, system etc lists that we need to cover…
