Events for IDtrust MS

Hi,
I'd like to document our EVENT options prior to our 7 June call.
There have been a lot of discussions, so I'd like to present an overview.

1.	John Sabo so generously supplied us with the Ditton Manor facility
for our fall Europe event but the OASIS staff was very concerned about
scheduling the Adoption Forum event with a security focus that would compete
with Burton Catalyst and RSA Europe during the same month in Europe this
late in the game.

2.	OASIS (Adoption forum) has decided to move forward with a focus on
eGov (public sector)

Web Services in Europe this fall. OASIS has many WS
standards and we are the home of many public efforts. This means that
IDtrust co-sponsoring the WS eGov event is still an option but not the only
option. Remember, we had previously developed a Security Focus for the
Adoption Forum when EEMA bowed out, so IDtrust quickly and easily filled the
vacuum.

3.	I have spoken with RSA Europe,

They were enthusiastic and have offered a stand (exhibitor) at this event.
This is not like the USA event. The stand is 3 meters by 3 meters and all
the stands are no-frills, so we would not be at a disadvantage. This event
projects 1200 attendees with 100 sessions and 60 exhibitors. The cost of a
stand is 10,000USD which includes an insert in the attendee bag but no
speaking slots. The focus of RSA is not right up our alley but 1,200
attendees are impressive.

4.	I have spoken with Burton Europe,

They were also enthusiastic and have offered a Hospitality Suite at
approximately 12,500USD. The event projects 350 attendees but they are more
focused on IdM and our specific space. There will only be 12 Hospitality
Suites with 6 each night, so the competition is different. I've submitted
abstracts for John and Arshad and got a favorable email from Gerry Gebel, my
analyst contract for Security. They may provide us with a meeting room for
our F2F.

5.	EEMA ISSE, http://www.eema.org/static/isse/warsaw.htm, Warsaw,
Poland, 25-27 September 2007. I think we can do whatever we'd like here, as
we have a great bond with them. I've submitted abstract for Arshad which was
met with 75% approval rate after CfP closed.

We need to think about 2008 financially as we have two events on the books
if John and CA are so generous.

6.	We are pursuing co-sponsorship with NIST IDtrust workshop in
Washington, DC in the month of April  2008at a cost of approximately
20,000USD.

7.	OASIS Adoption Forum with a Security Focus at the Ditton Manor in
London in September 2008. If we set the date now, we have a much better
chance of pulling folks in before RSA (which has committed to London locale
for the next 3 years.) Butler (the analyst group) loves Ditton as it is a
hub for tech vendors and government officials like the setting!

8.	Abbie had other suggestion and I think we need to talk about Asia
options particularly a co-op with ITU-T in Japan (ITU IDM FG) and this event

I'd like all of your feedback to compile and shoot it out prior to our
meeting.
