Ideas for IAIC (PKI) Call for Papers - DUE 9 July, 2007

Hi,
Here are a few topics we've discussed over the past few months and then
some.

1.	User-Centric identity - OpenID.
2. 	Policies, and procedures for identity and trusted infrastructures.
3.	End user presentations and 'best practices' for e-identity
(commercial 	and public sector).
4.	Validating and building trust paths.
5.	Standardizing levels of assurance.
6.	Rich attributes.
7.	Certifying authorities (identity agents) and legal implications (is
there precedence?).
8.	'Open Auth'
9.	CardSpace (don't know, still proprietary, I think)? ID cards?
10.	Provisioning identification to remote devices.
11.	Policy Mapping, Attribute mapping (covered above but slightly
different).
12.	'Claims-based' identity authentication.
13.	Ease of use for public sector (citizens).
14. 	Role of identity providers vs. service providers.
15.	Audit and Compliance.
16. 	Internationalization of trust relationships.

I would say the three topics I hear mentioned the most are:
A.	Policy Mapping.
B.	Attribute Mapping.
C.	Best practices.

This is just a primer to get your ideas flowing....send me your idea of
dream presentations and I will pull them together by COB, MONDAY, 9 July.
