Notes from KMIP interop call, September 2

Here are my summary notes from yesterday's interop call. Please let me

Mathias: Trinath of Freescale contacted
Bob asking for connection details to our KMIP servers, forwarded mail to
others hosting servers
Mathias: no traffic to IBM interop server
Tim: exchanged some emails, Trinath
currently has a prototype Python client and had some questions regarding
the spec

Gordon: planning independent interop
testing at SNIA tech center, a process to set up access, firewall, issuing
of certificates
Gordon: host multiple companies' servers
at the tech center - is it better to roll servers in or would virtual machine
be enough?
Gordon: IBM planning for a virtual machine,
what about HP, RSA? Will contact them.
Tim: was not planning to participate,
not SNIA member
Tim: form factor would make no difference

Tim: looking at Sun protocol for key
enrollment and how it would map to KMIP
