RSA Conference OASIS Interop Demo
Hi everyone, Thanks to everyone participating in the interop demo at the show today. We at Qlabs were pleasantly surprised by the interest and the cooperation between all the vendors. We're very excited about the coming three days. I'd just like to make a request of everyone please. I have gone through our server logs and checked on the transactions of keys and badge information from tonight. I appreciate that we all agreed to a demo where scanned badge information was attached as attributes to keys and passed around to show that we can interoperate. I have noticed that a good number of keys - with attached lead information - have been removed and deleted from our KMIP server. Could I please ask that you respect the time, money and effort that we have put into developing this application. While I am happy to share the lead information that we attach as attributes to the keys as part of the demonstration, I would greatly appreciate if you do move a key out of our system into your own, or someone else's, that you put it back when finished - or preferably, that you coordinate key movements out of our system with us. Our application does save all the information in separate storage, so we have a separate secure and permanent copy, but on a few occasions, we found that visitors to our demonstration could not see the scanned information in our system because it was removed almost as quickly as it was scanned and inserted. Even when returning later, the information had not been restored.
