Hi folks,
Please note that we do need to wait for the vote to be closed by
TC Admin with the outcome stated at that point.
With that understood, I believe we have passed the minimum bar
for a yes vote, so my advice would be to commence work (if you
haven't leapt ahead already) on any revised test sheets and
implementations to take advantage of the extra time. For those on
yesterday's call - I re-ran the call with IBM in their timezone so
everyone has the same opportunity and information. To be clear the
following actions are available for participants to use at their
discretion, once the vote passes:
- Provide any updated test sheets specifically noting any changes
to the supported test cases (for any qualifying implementation)
- Test any new test cases present on an implementation's amended
test sheet (for any qualifying implementation)
- Amend implementations in response to any noted failures or
discrepancies (for any qualifying implementation)
- Retest any implementation noted as having a failure or dispute
(for any qualifying implementation)
-All retesting needs to be completed by 5pm US-PST on Tuesday
April 3.
Please note that for the purposes of this email, a qualifying
implementation is any implementation that passed last week's
testing and for which I have already shown results.
In order to keep the workload manageable, we agreed that no
retesting would be permitted for the test cases already run that
had no failures or disputes.
Please watch for the official vote announcement from TC admin,
and proceed as noted above.
Thanks again,
