i hope that we will be ready to take two important votes in tomorrow's
meeting:
- approve the current KMIP Profiles document as Committee Draft
- submit the 4 KMIP Committee Draft documents, as a package, to Public
Review
Both these votes require a Full Majority Vote (that is: "a TC vote in which
more than 50% (more than half) of the Voting Members vote "yes", regardless
of the number of Voting Members present in the meeting."). With this in
mind, I'd ask all current Voting Members to attend tomorrow's call if at
all possible.

As part of the public review, we are asked to submit a list of external
stakeholders who should be notified of the review. Please let me know of
any additions to the following draft list:
- ANSI X9F1 committee (contact: Terence Spies)
- IETF KeyProv working group (contact: Hannes Tschofenig)
- IEEE P1619.3 committee (contact: Walt Hubis)
- TCG Storage Working Group and Infrastructure Working Group (contact: Walt
Hubis)
- PKCS #11 standards interest list (contact: Bob Griffin)
I fully anticipate that there will be new versions of our four documents,
following the Public Review, that will incorporate editorial changes. We
are already collecting such editorial changes, and expect that additional
ones will surface. But I hope the TC will feel, as I do, that our documents
are in excellent shape as they are and fully ready for review by the
broadest possible group of stakeholders.
