I have a doubt with respect to the Attributes [1]
Certificate Identifier and [2] Certificate Issuer
Doubts:
Why the same data is represented in two areas as in
Certificate Identifier structure which contains ‘Issuer’ attribute
(which stores the certificate issuer’s distinguished name) and Certificate
Issuer structure which contains ‘Certificate Issuer Distinguished Name’
which also stores the certificate issuer’s distinguished name?
Is this for any security reasons?
Please help me understand this.
