Please note that I deleted the zip file that I posted this morning, so as to avoid any confusion about what documents are being referenced in the ballot. That earlier zip file contained only the KMIP Use Cases V1.1 document with changes accepted; I posted it before receiving Bruce’s email regarding the errors in references in the KMIP Profiles.

 

Again, my apologies for not catching the problems sooner. Many thanks to Bruce for the heads-up!

hi -

this zip file contains the 4 KMIP V1.1 documents being proposed as committee draft documents in the ballot created on 20-Dec-2011. 

- The KMIP Specification in this zip file is the same as in kmip_v1.1_docx_17dec11.zip.

- KMIP Use Cases is the same as in kmip_v1.1_docx_17dec11.zip but with changes accepted, as requested by OASIS admin.

- KMIP Usage Guide is a new version, containing corrections for an incorrect reference to KMIP-Spec and corrections to format problems that might have caused errors in interpreting the guidance in this document.

- KMIP Profiles is a new version, containing corrections for errors in references to KMIP-Sepc.

Upon completion of the ballot (if approved), this zip file will be submitting to OASIS admin as the authoritative versions of these documents to be used for the public review (OASIS admin will generate HTML and PDF versions).
