Here’s a cut at an email that you can send to any of the organizational reps that you know, regarding the ballots for KMIP V1.1 Spec and Profiles. See “Voting Details” on the ballots at the URLs below for the organizational reps eligible to vote on these ballots.

OASIS has announced the opening of the ballots to promote the KMIP Specification Version 1.1 (https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/voting/ballot.php?id=2342) and the KMIP Profiles Version 1.1 (https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/voting/ballot.php?id=2343) to OASIS standards. These documents contain important updates to the KMIP standard, significantly improving interoperability and conformance specification for KMIP implementations. 

 

Please cast your votes in support of these KMIP standards. The ballots close on 24-Jan-2013 (11:59 US EST).
