Fwd: [kmip] Groups - Ballots closed: 8
Members of the KMIP TC,

As you can see below, your ballots to approve 8 Committee Specifications as Candidate OASIS Standards have passed.

TC Administration will now prepare the COS editions of the specs. We are holding off starting the 60 day public reviews until the remaining 3 CSs can be balloted. TC Admin JIRA tickets https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2048 through https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2055 have been opened to track publication of these 8.

Please let us know if you have any questions on this.

Best regards,

/chet

Description

Key Management Interoperability Protocol Specification Version 1.2 [1] was approved as a Committee Specification on 11 November 2014. The TC has received 3 Statements of Use from Cryptsoft, IBM and P6R [2]. Do you now approve submitting Key Management Interoperability Protocol Specification Version 1.2 to the OASIS membership for consideration as a Candidate OASIS Standard?

Approving this ballot will result in a 60-day public review after which, if no comments are received, the COS will be submitted to a membership-wide ballot. This is explained in TC Process section 3.4.2, Public Review of a Candidate OASIS Standard [3].

This ballot requires a Special Majority Vote [4]. The TC roster currently lists 24 voting members. In order to pass, at least 16 (2/3 x 24) members have to vote Yes and no more than 6 (1/4 x 24) members may vote No.
