The messages conveyed with managed objects can be maintained within the Key management System by using Description field as a title or e-mail subject equivalent for concise imperative statement. 
The Comment field is a complementary field to allow more verbose communication regarding what and why activity related to a managed object. This would be logically equivalent to the body of an e-mail message.
